Description
Starter F1 bulbs have round shape with diameter from 6.5 to 8.5 cm and average weight of 130-180 g. The outer skin is golden-bronze, dense and tough, while inner scales are white, thick and fleshy, retaining elasticity and juiciness for a long time. The onion has rich semi-sharp flavor and high nutritional value. High content of dry matter in flesh ensures excellent taste and long-term storage up to 8 months without loss of quality.
The hybrid develops well on light soils with neutral or slightly alkaline reaction (pH 7-8), prefers drip irrigation and regular weeding. Starter F1 onion is suitable for fresh consumption, cooking hot dishes, preservation and freezing. Thanks to high yield — up to 50-70 tons per hectare — and universal application, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain quality and stable harvest.
