Description
The variety is resistant to bolting, which significantly increases its marketable yield, reaching 188-375 ц/га (c/ha), which is 20-50 ц/ha (c/ha) higher compared to standard varieties. The readiness of the onion before harvesting is 82%, and after after-ripening — 95%. Thanks to the thin bright green foliage of 6-8 leaves, TAKSTAR is excellent for growing green onions. It is recommended to plant onions 10 cm apart and 20 cm between rows; spring planting depth is 3-5 cm, and autumn planting — 6-10 cm to protect from freezing.
This hybrid is universal in application: it is suitable for growing both as a bulb and as green onions. However, long-term storage is not recommended, so it is better to use the onion in fresh form. Due to its ease of cleaning and attractive appearance, TAKSTAR is popular among gardeners and processors focused on processing and consuming fresh onions.
