Description
The Taresco F1 hybrid exhibits high resistance to Fusarium, root rot, bolting, and sprouting, significantly simplifying storage and transportation. The onion is characterized by excellent bulb uniformity and tightly adhering outer scales, making it suitable for mechanized harvesting. Thanks to its high resistance to sprouting during storage, the onion retains its quality for up to 10 months, allowing for extended marketing periods, including storage under controlled conditions.
The flavor profile of Taresco F1 onion is characterized by a distinct semi-sharp taste with mild sweet notes. The onion is crisp and juicy, making it ideal for fresh consumption, such as in salads, as well as for use after thermal processing, adding a spicy note to dishes. The recommended sowing rate is 1.0–1.1 million seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant density and high yield.
