Description
A distinctive feature of this variety is intensive branching of cylindrical leaves, 20 to 45 cm long, with a characteristic waxy coating. Troy F1 exhibits high resistance to bolting and diseases, as well as good cold tolerance. Due to its dense dry scales, harvest can be mechanized. Recommended to sow as winter or spring planting, with optimal planting density of 10 cm between plants and 20 cm between rows, at a depth of 6–10 cm for winter sowing.
The Troy F1 variety is adapted to various soil types, but performs best on well-drained loams enriched with organic matter. With proper agronomy, yield can reach up to 5 kg per square meter, and storage period lasts 3 to 6 months without loss of flavor or quality. Troy F1 is rich in B-vitamins and contains elevated levels of iron, calcium, and potassium, making it not only tasty but also nutritious.
