Description
VIDRAS bulbs have a round shape and medium size, covered with dense white scales, which differ in a fleshy and juicy structure. The inner scales are also white, which gives the onion an attractive appearance and high taste qualities with a sharp taste. The onion contains a large amount of useful microelements, flavonoids and essential oils, which makes it a valuable product for preparing fresh salads, hot dishes, marinades, and also suitable for drying and freezing. Thanks to the dense flesh and good transportability, the bulbs maintain their market appearance and quality during transport and storage.
VIDRAS is distinguished by high resistance to common onion diseases, such as neck and root rots, which significantly increases the reliability of the harvest. The recommended sowing rate is from 0.9 to 1 million seeds per hectare, which ensures a high yield of up to 850 centners per hectare. The onion is suitable for mechanical harvesting and can be stored for 6-7 months, which makes it convenient for commercial cultivation and marketing of fresh produce.
