CALITHVA

Calithva is a variety of the tufted fescue (Dactylis glomerata L.), a diploid species characterized by narrow leaf blades and short flag leaves. The plant forms an upright clump with a short stem and medium-length upper internodes. The leaves possess siliceous teeth, and inflorescences are produced weakly, heading out in the second year. The leaves retain a green hue in autumn.
