Plants reach heights between 70 and 130 cm, exhibit high resistance to shattering and lodging, which aids in crop preservation. The mass of 1000 seeds varies between 198-322 g, significantly exceeding standard values, while the number of seeds per pod ranges from 5-6, sometimes up to 8. The variety is distinguished by high yields of large grain; the maximum recorded yield is 6.35 t/ha.

The Blagovest variety is characterized by excellent market and culinary qualities. Grain output reaches 88.1%, and protein content ranges from 24.4-26.8%, making it valuable for the food industry and healthy eating. The taste after cooking is rated 4.0 points, indicating high product quality. The variety shows moderate drought resistance and responds well to growing conditions, recommending its cultivation in regions with variable climatic conditions, specifically in Kemerovo Oblast and the West Siberian region.
