The ORLOVCHANIN pea variety is a leafless grain pea created by crossing the Orlovchanin and Consord varieties, followed by individual selection of plants resistant to seed shattering. This variety is characterized by a shortened simple stem and pod-type pods with a straight shape and blunt tip, containing 6 to 8 seeds per pod. The seeds are cylindrical with a smooth surface and yellow cotyledons; the mass of 1000 seeds is about 250 grams, and the protein content reaches 26.1%.

ORLOVCHANIN belongs to medium-late maturing varieties with a vegetative period of 75-80 days and is adapted for single-phase harvest collection. It boasts high yields reaching 60-65 centners per hectare with optimal agricultural technology. The variety demonstrates resistance to stem lodging and seed shattering, significantly facilitating the harvesting process and improving grain quality.
