Panyanka

Panyanka — a late-ripening dessert pear variety, distinguished by high yield and resistance to scab. The tree of this variety is low-growing and compact, facilitating care and harvesting. The pears have a regular elongated-pear shape, are single-sized, weighing from 200 to 350 grams, with individual specimens reaching up to 550 grams. The flesh is white or cream-colored, tender, juicy, and oily, with an excellent sweet-sour taste and a mild almond aroma, making them especially attractive to consumers.

The fruit ripens for harvest in early to mid-October, and the pears ripen uniformly and remain on the tree for a long time, practically not dropping off. The variety exhibits good storability: under proper storage conditions, the fruit retains its quality until the end of January–February, and sometimes even longer. This allows them to be used fresh for an extended period after harvest.
