Potato CERATA KVS is a late-maturing table variety developed by the Dutch breeding company STET HOLLAND B.V. The plant is characterized by high growth and intermediate type, with leaves ranging from intermediate to open type and a medium-sized flower with intense anthocyanic coloring on the inner side. Tubers are oval, with small or medium-depth eyes, covered with red skin, and have white flesh. The average weight of marketable tubers varies from 94 to 143 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 9-13.

The variety is distinguished by high market yield, ranging from 172 to 320 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 343 centners per hectare. Starch content in tubers is within the range of 15.0-16.4%, ensuring excellent taste qualities and versatility in cooking. Potato CERATA KVS belongs to the culinary type BC, making it suitable for frying, boiling, and baking. Marketability of the variety reaches 86-96%, and storability — 97%, indicating good tuber preservation during storage.

Special attention has been paid to the variety's resistance to diseases and pests. CERATA KVS exhibits resistance to potato cancer pathogen, golden potato cyst nematode, and common scab. Additionally, the variety shows moderate resistance to crinkly mosaic and leaf curling. These characteristics make this variety a reliable choice for cultivation in the Central Chernozem region and ensure a stable, high-quality harvest.
