EARLY MORNING

Potato variety "Early Morning" is an early-maturing table variety of Russian selection, featuring oval-shaped red-skinned tubers with light-yellow flesh. This variety is distinguished by high yield, ranging from 140 to 321 centners per hectare, with maximum yields reaching up to 344 centners. The tuber mass ranges from 98 to 192 grams, and the number of tubers per plant reaches 5-9 pieces. The plant forms a tall semi-upright bush with dark-green leaves. The maturity period is 60 to 90 days, with the first harvest possible as early as the 45th day after emergence, allowing for two harvests per season.

The "Early Morning" variety is characterized by low maintenance requirements and drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation under various conditions, especially in the Ural region. It is resistant to potato blight and Colorado potato beetle, but susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode and late blight of foliage and tubers. The tuber storability is high — around 92% — ensuring good storage at temperatures no higher than 2-3°C. The tuber marketability ranges from 69-88%.
