The plant is of medium height, leafy type, semi-erect, with medium-sized light-green leaves and medium intensity of anthocyanin coloration on the inner side of the flower. The weight of marketable tubers ranges from 92 to 135 grams, and starch content is 16.1 to 19.0%, ensuring high taste quality and versatility in cooking, including boiling, baking, and making mashed potatoes.

The variety is distinguished by high market yield, ranging from 162 to 246 centners per hectare, with maximum yield reaching 307 centners per hectare, significantly exceeding standard indicators. Tubers' marketability is 82-98%, and storability reaches 95%, indicating good product preservation during storage. The number of tubers per plant ranges from 7 to 12, contributing to stable and high yield.

Elena potato exhibits resistance to several diseases, including potato cancer, golden potato cyst nematode, crinkly mosaic, and leaf curling. However, the variety is moderately susceptible to late blight on foliage and susceptible on tubers. Due to its characteristics and disease resistance, the Elena variety is a reliable choice for cultivation in various regions, especially in the Ural region of Russia.
