The variety is characterized by good and excellent taste, marketability at 68%, and high storability — 93%. The yield of variety Farn varies from 119 to 266 centners per hectare, corresponding to the Lady Clare standard and significantly exceeding the Musinski standard. Maximum yield can reach 285 centners per hectare, which is 78 centners higher than the Volzhani standard. The variety is resistant to several diseases, including potato cancer pathogen, golden potato cyst nematode, crinkly mosaic, and leaf curl. According to the VNIIFPH data, the variety is moderately susceptible to late blight on stems and tubers. Farn has high drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The plant is semi-erect, facilitating care and harvest. The recommended planting density is 44-45 thousand plants per hectare.
