Potato variety 'Poseidon' is a new-generation novelty developed by the breeding team of the Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Far East named after A.K. Chaykin. This medium-maturing variety is characterized by high potential yield, reaching up to 55 tons per hectare, significantly exceeding regional averages. Tubers have a proper round-oval shape, yellow skin and flesh, with starch content of 15-16%, ensuring good taste qualities and versatility in culinary use.

The 'Poseidon' variety demonstrates high yield stability and good tuber storability, making it attractive for long-term storage and transportation. It is well-adapted to the climatic conditions of the Primorsky Krai and successfully passed field trials under various conditions of the Far East, showing resistance to local environmental factors.
