Slauta

The Slauta potato variety is an ultra-early table variety with a vegetation period of about 55-60 days. The tubers of this variety are round, medium or large in size, with red-pink skin and creamy flesh that does not darken during boiling or mechanical damage. The starch content in the tubers is approximately 14-15%, which provides excellent taste qualities, rated at 8.6 points, as well as high product marketability.

The Slauta variety is characterized by high yield: by day 55 after emergence, the yield reaches 25 tons per hectare, and by the end of the vegetation period, it can increase to 50 tons per hectare. The potato is well-suited for double-cropping, which allows efficient use of land resources. In addition, the tubers have high resistance to mechanical damage, which facilitates harvest and transportation.

One of the key advantages of this variety is its increased resistance to major potato diseases, such as late blight, phytophthora, and golden cyst nematode. The Slauta potato stores well, retaining its qualities and not prone to flesh darkening, making it attractive to both consumers and producers.
