SUVOROVSKY

Suvorovsky potato variety is a mid-season table variety with high commercial yield and excellent taste qualities. The plant is of medium height, erect or semi-erect, with white flowers and medium-sized green leaves. Tubers have an oval-round shape, light pink or partially red skin, yellow or white flesh, with small or medium-sized eyes of medium depth. The mass of marketable tubers ranges from 85-147 grams, ensuring ease of use and high marketability, reaching 83-98%. Starch content ranges from 12.19-18.4%, contributing to the product's excellent taste.

The yield of the Suvorovsky variety is stable and highly productive. Maximum yields reach 396-514 centners per hectare, placing it among the leading standards for the region of cultivation. The first harvest on day 45 after emergence yields 83-154 centners per hectare, and the second harvest on day 55 yields 114-223 centners per hectare. Tubers have high storability, about 96%, ensuring long-term storage without loss of quality.

The variety exhibits good resistance to major potato diseases. It is resistant to potato cancer and golden cyst nematode, as well as to crinkly leaf curl and mosaic virus. Additionally, the variety shows moderate resistance to late blight, common scab, viral diseases, and black leg. These characteristics make Suvorovsky attractive for cultivation both in private plots and in commercial production, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
