STYRIAN SEEDLESS PUMPKIN

Styrian seedless pumpkin is a medium-ripening variety with elongated fruits up to 120 cm in length and up to 30 cm in diameter. The fruit skin has a pink-orange hue, while the flesh is bright orange, dense, fiberless, and noted for its very sweet taste. When stored, the flesh can be frozen; over time, the flavor becomes more pronounced and acquires banana notes. The fruits have high storability, allowing them to be preserved for a long time.

A distinctive feature of this variety is its seedless nature, meaning the seeds lack a coat, weighing about 1 gram and measuring approximately 1 cm. The germination rate reaches 90%. The seeds have a thick structure and a distinct nutty aroma. Seed color ranges from dark green to black. The high oil content in the seeds, around 50%, makes them a valuable raw material for processing and pumpkin oil production.

Pumpkins prefer sunny locations and are drought-resistant, requiring no special treatment during cultivation. They are self-fertile, which facilitates pollination and harvest. Seeds can be consumed as-is or used for further processing. Due to their taste qualities and beneficial properties, this pumpkin variety is widely used both in cooking and for medicinal purposes.
