Description
The Ilka variety is characterized by high resistance to cracking, wilting, and hollowing, as well as to major disease pathogens. The plant is cold-tolerant, allowing it to be grown from early spring to late autumn, both in open ground and in greenhouses. The fruits ripen simultaneously, facilitating harvest and maintaining high market quality during transportation.
To successfully grow Ilka radish, specific agronomic conditions must be met: seeds are sown at a depth of 2-3 cm from April to May, requiring good lighting and increased air and soil humidity. The variety does not tolerate shade, so adequate light exposure is essential. Ilka radish is valued for its resistance to temperature fluctuations and is suitable for fresh consumption, especially during early spring and late autumn periods.
