Rover F1

Red Radish Rover F1 is an early hybrid from the Dutch selection company Bejo Zaden, primarily intended for cultivation in open ground and greenhouses during spring. The maturation period is 18-25 days, allowing for an early harvest. The hybrid is highly adaptable to various soil types and growing conditions, and it tolerates light deficiency well, making it especially suitable for spring cultivation under limited lighting. Red Radish Rover F1 is resistant to major diseases, not prone to splitting, cracking, or greening, which reduces the need for treatments and ensures a stable yield when crop rotation is observed.

The fruits of Red Radish Rover F1 have a round shape and a deep red color, with a diameter of 4 to 5.5 cm and a weight of about 30 grams. The skin is thin but tough, reliably protecting the white, crisp flesh from damage and cracking. The taste qualities of the hybrid are excellent: pleasant flavor with a mild spicy note and no bitterness. Due to its high marketability and concentrated maturation, the yield is easy to transport and suitable for washing, packaging, and sale on the fresh market. However, when stored in warm conditions, radish loses its firmness, so it is recommended to store it in cool conditions.

Red Radish Rover F1 is widely used in cooking, especially fresh and in salads, thanks to its excellent taste and nutritious composition rich in vitamins and microelements. The recommended sowing rate is 200 to 300 seeds per square meter, with a potential yield of 3.5-5 kg per square meter. This hybrid is an excellent choice for obtaining early, high-quality produce with a stable yield.
