POLINKA

Radish Polinka is an early-maturing and cold-hardy vegetable suitable for cultivation in open ground as well as under cover. The period from germination to technical maturity is approximately 20-30 days, allowing for harvest in early spring. The roots of this variety have an elongated cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and weigh between 15 to 30 grams. The flesh is white, dense, tender, and crisp, with excellent taste qualities, making Radish Polinka ideal for fresh consumption.

The variety is characterized by uniform yield and good resistance to bolting even under cold spring conditions. The roots retain freshness for a long time, do not wilt, and withstand transportation well, which is an important advantage for commercial cultivation. Yield is approximately 1.5-1.7 kg per square meter. For a stable and prolonged harvest, it is recommended to sow seeds several times during the season with an interval of 15-20 days, and to provide plants with timely watering, weeding, loosening, and fertilization.

Radish Polinka prefers permeable, humus-rich soils that should not be too dry. To improve growth and development, plants require organic and mineral fertilizers. Seeds are sown at a depth of about 2 cm, and seedlings are thinned out after the first true leaf appears. Due to its nutritional properties, including content of vitamin C, potassium, sulfur, iron, and essential oils, this variety is a valuable addition to the spring diet and is popular among gardeners and fresh vegetable enthusiasts.
