Ruby

Ruby is an early-maturing, high-yielding radish variety suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments, including greenhouses and tunnels. The period from sowing to harvest ranges from 22 to 31 days, allowing for a quick harvest of fresh produce. This variety is characterized by its uniform yield and resistance to bolting, making it convenient for agronomic use. Ruby tolerates low temperatures well, surviving frosts down to -2 to -3°C, with an optimal growth temperature range of +18 to +20°C.

The radish roots of the Ruby variety have a round or oval shape, smooth surface, and bright red or reddish-pink color. The root size varies in diameter around 3–3.5 cm and length approximately 4 cm, weighing between 11 to 28 grams. They are fully buried in the soil, which promotes their quality development. The flesh is white or white-pink, dense, juicy, and has a pleasant, mildly spicy flavor with a slight sweetness.
