LENARIS

The LENARIS rice variety is a mid-season variety with a vegetation period of 115-117 days, created using modern marker-assisted breeding technologies and PCR marker control of the Pi-ta resistance gene to pyricularia. The plants reach a height of 85-90 cm, have a sturdy stem of medium thickness and a compact upright bush, which ensures resistance to lodging and shattering. The grain is elongated in shape with a length-to-width ratio of 2.3-2.4, the mass of 1000 grains is 34.3-34.7 g, indicating high grain quality.

LENARIS is characterized by high yield, which in the Krasnodar region averages 91.2 c/ha, with maximum indicators reaching up to 102.9 c/ha. The variety is resistant to pyricularia, which significantly reduces the risk of diseases and increases yield stability. Grain translucency is within the range of 85-90%, glume content is 19.8%, and chaffiness is 19%, affecting the quality and preservation of grain during storage and processing.

The total grain milling yield is 71.2-72.2%, while the proportion of whole kernels reaches 86.4-89.2%, making the variety attractive for producing high-quality rice. LENARIS is recommended for cultivation in the Krasnodar region and other regions with similar climatic conditions, ensuring stable and high yields when agricultural technology requirements are met.
