Description
The rose variety RUISCH 2700 I is a cutting variety intended for cultivation in protected environments in all regions of Russia. The bushes of this variety are upright and of medium height, with canes colored from green to bronze, while young canes have weak anthocyanin coloring. Thorns on the plant are small, short, flat, and green, of medium abundance. Leaves are large, egg-shaped with a rounded base and an acute apex, have medium glossiness and a slightly wavy edge, and are colored green.
The flowers of the rose RUISCH 2700 I are round in shape, with a diameter of 6-7 cm, and white in color, gathered in inflorescences of 5-8 pieces. Petals are inversely egg-shaped with slight incision and waviness. The aroma of the flowers is weak. Blooming is moderate, while cutting productivity reaches 160-200 flowers per square meter per year. Flowers maintain freshness in cutting for 10-12 days, which makes the variety attractive for floristics.
The variety has medium resistance to botrytis and powdery mildew, which contributes to its reliable cultivation. Heat resistance is medium, and drought resistance is weak, which requires certain attention to watering and microclimate conditions during cultivation. The rose RUISCH 2700 I was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation in 2017 and is a product of DE RUITER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY B.V., which confirms its quality and breeding value.
