Tucan (Tan00125)

The Tucan rose (Tan00125) is a cut-flower tea-hybrid rose with decorative shrub characteristics, bred by Rosen Tantau in 2003. The rose bushes grow to a height of 60–120 cm and a width of 50–80 cm, featuring a broad and well-branched structure with minimal thorns. The leaves are glossy, giving the plant an attractive appearance. The rose exhibits high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions.

The Tucan rose flowers are bright and vivid yellow with a wide contrasting edge that may be red, pink, or crimson. The flowers are double, composed of approximately 25 petals, with a diameter of 6–9 cm, and can appear singly or in clusters of 3–4 flowers. The flowering is continuous and abundant, often forming clusters, which ensures a prolonged decorative effect. The flowers have a pleasant but relatively mild fragrance, and cut blooms retain their freshness well in a vase.

The Tucan rose is suitable for cultivation in gardens and rose gardens, ideal for group plantings, living hedges, and centerpieces in groundcover compositions.
