KWS ETERNO is a hybrid winter rye distinguished by high yield and resistance to major diseases, such as brown leaf rust, rhynchosporium, powdery mildew, yellow rust, and head fusarium. This hybrid demonstrates excellent winter hardiness, drought resistance, and shattering resistance, ensuring a stable and high yield even in challenging climatic conditions. Plant height is 110-130 cm, and the vegetative period lasts from 280 to 320 days, allowing flexible planning of sowing and harvest dates.

KWS ETERNO has high yield potential — up to 130 c/ha when following intensive cultivation technology. The hybrid is characterized by very high tillering intensity and medium development speed. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 33 to 41 g, and crude protein content is 9-10%. Sowing rate depends on the sowing time and cultivation purpose: optimal sowing requires 2.0-2.2 million/ha, late sowing — 2.2-2.5 million/ha, and for silage — 2.7-3.0 million/ha. Seed sowing depth is recommended at 2-3 cm.

This rye hybrid is versatile and suitable for both baking and animal feeding, making it a double-purpose hybrid.
