It was developed through free pollination of the Taloivskaya 12 variety offspring and is characterized by a diploid form. Plants reach heights from 112 to 176 cm, and the spike has a slightly fusiform shape of medium length and density. The grain is semi-elongated, semi-opened, of medium size, with a 1000-grain weight of 26 to 40 grams, ensuring good bread-making qualities.

The variety belongs to mid-early maturing types with a vegetative period from 294 to 331 days. It demonstrates high winter hardiness, exceeding the average level, and lodging resistance at the standard level. TALOVSKAYA 29 has medium resistance to brown and stem rust, as well as powdery mildew, but is susceptible to snow mold, which should be taken into account when choosing a growing region and agronomic practices.

The variety's yield in permitted regions reaches 46.5 centners per hectare, surpassing the indicators of such varieties as Taloivskaya 12 and Saratovskaya 5.
