Description
The STATNAYA soybean variety is an early-maturing, high-yielding crop with a vegetative period ranging from 97 to 107 days. The plants are indeterminate type, standing 62 to 73 cm tall, with purple flowers and yellow-green seeds featuring a gray hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 129 g. Protein content in the seeds reaches 40.25-43.9%, while oil content is about 17.65-18.3%, making this variety a valuable source of protein and oil. The height of the lower pod attachment is approximately 12 cm, and the hypocotyl is colored with anthocyanin, which is a characteristic feature of the variety.
STATNAYA is distinguished by complex resistance to fungal and bacterial diseases, as well as high resistance to soil waterlogging. These qualities ensure stable productivity of the variety regardless of the cultivation method. Maximum seed yield in various regions reaches 29.7 c/ha, while average indicators vary from 15.4 to 22.2 c/ha, confirming the variety's adaptability to the Far Eastern region conditions.
Soybean STATNAYA plays an important role in crop rotation, contributing to nitrogen accumulation in the soil (60-80 kg/ha) and improving its structure and fertility. The crop develops well after cereals and corn, however, requires weed control due to low competitiveness. Due to the ability to use hard-to-dissolve nutrients from lower soil layers, this variety promotes effective nutrient cycling in agroecosystems, which increases the productivity of subsequent crops.
