Engineering of the Metering Unit

The SUPN planter is built around a disc-type pneumatic metering unit. The key component here is the cast aluminum alloy housing, which provides structural rigidity and prevents deformation when operating in tough soil conditions. The vacuum system, powered by the tractor's PTO through a fan, creates uniform suction, which is critical for precise seed fixation on the metering disc holes.

Metering and Fertilizer Application

Dosage precision is achieved through interchangeable discs tailored for various crops (corn, sunflower). The SUPN features an agitator mechanism that prevents seed bridging in the hopper, eliminating the risk of gaps during planting on uneven fields. Simultaneously, the machine applies mineral fertilizers: the disc-type fertilizer unit feeds nutrients into the furrow with adjustable depth and dosage, which optimizes resource use and improves emergence.

Undercarriage and Drive System

The metering units are driven by support wheels via a chain drive system. Using intermediate shafts with couplings allows for quick changes in seeding rates, making the machine versatile in operation. Aggregation with 1.4 traction class tractors enables efficient use on large areas, maintaining high operating speeds while ensuring consistent planting depth.
