The variety belongs to the group of fast-maturing grasses; the vegetation period from the beginning of spring vegetation to the first cut is 45‑50 days, and to full seed ripeness – 75‑80 days.
Kazachinskaya 2 is distinguished by good winter hardiness and medium drought resistance. Under unfavorable conditions, the plant does not fall over and is weakly affected by rust, which makes it resistant to common diseases. After the cut, the bushes regrow quickly in the spring period, ensuring a stable yield.
