Description
This variety is distinguished by high yield — up to 10 kg per square meter or up to 8 kg per plant — as well as resistance to cold, drought, diseases, and wind. Due to these qualities, the tomato is well-suited for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. Plants reach a height of 160–180 cm, requiring appropriate care and support for optimal growth.
The Altai tomato is ideal for fresh consumption, salads, and juice preparation, thanks to its sweet, almost dessert-like flavor and tender flesh structure. Seeds of this variety are widely available and used both at home and on farms. It is recommended to sow seedlings in March, followed by transplanting into the ground in May, and the fruits can be stored at temperatures between +5 to +12 degrees Celsius for up to two months.
