Description
The fruits of this variety have a characteristic plum-like shape, smooth and dense texture, weighing between 80 to 120 grams, and exhibit a bright yellow-orange color when ripe. The flesh is juicy, meaty, rich in carotene and dry matter, giving them an excellent flavor and making them especially suitable for children's and dietary nutrition. The fruits are well-suited for whole-fruit canning, freezing, salads, stuffing, and drying. They transport well and can be stored for up to two months after harvest.
For successful cultivation of the Amber Cup variety, light, fertile soils are recommended, along with proper agronomic practices: sowing seeds for seedlings at the end of March to early April, transplanting in the 1-2 true leaf stage, regular feeding with complex mineral fertilizers, and hardening off seedlings before transplanting to open ground. Seedlings are planted after the threat of frost, usually at the end of May, following a planting scheme of 70x30-40 cm. During the growing season, plants require regular watering with warm water and 2-3 feedings to ensure adequate nutrition and high yield.
