The plant is semi-determinate, reaching up to 150 cm in height, ensuring compactness and ease of care. Leaves are large and dark green, and inflorescences are simple, promoting good fruit formation. The variety is characterized by enhanced resistance to low temperatures and can successfully set fruit even under extreme growing conditions.

The fruits of tomato Augustin have a multi-chambered, flat-round shape, with weight ranging from 50 to 300 grams depending on growing conditions and season stage. Early in the season, fruits are more uniform, while later they may develop ribbed shapes. Unripe fruits are light green, and ripe ones are a vibrant red. The flesh is dense, fruits are resistant to cracking and blossom end rot, significantly enhancing their market appearance and storage life.

The flavor of the fruits is harmonious, with a pleasant sweet-tart note and a rich aroma. The dry matter content in the juice is approximately 4.4%, and total sugar content is 2.1%, making Augustin tomatoes an excellent choice for salads and canning. The yield of this variety is high — up to 170 centners per hectare, with a marketable fruit output reaching 75%, which is 54 centners higher than the regional standard. All these qualities make tomato Augustin a versatile and reliable variety for various uses.
