Tomato BABUSHKINOSCHASTYE — a medium-early indeterminate variety, intended for high yields and excellent fruit quality. The ripening period ranges from 110 to 120 days from sowing to full ripening. Plants reach a height of 160 to 220 cm and require pruning to 2–3 stems with mandatory suckering. To prevent branch breakage under heavy clusters that can bear up to 12 large tomatoes, staking is necessary.
Fruits of this variety have round or flat-round shape with ribbing near the calyx and pink-red color with glossy surface. Weight of one tomato varies from 300 to 900 grams, with firm, juicy, bright red flesh. Tomatoes have a rich sweet taste with pleasant acidity and classic tomato aroma. They contain few seeds and chambers, as well as high dry matter content, making them suitable for long-term storage and fresh use, as well as for making salads, juice, and tomato puree.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew and black leg, and it tolerates low temperatures well.
