Description
The fruits of the Barmalie variety are large, flat-round, slightly ribbed, with a glossy, dense, yet tender skin of vibrant pink color. Fruit weight varies from 200 to 300 grams, with flesh that is very juicy, succulent, and has a distinct sweet-tart flavor with a mild pleasant aroma. Due to its dense flesh and skin, the tomatoes withstand long-distance transportation, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation and sale.
The yield of this variety is high, reaching up to 16 kg per square meter with proper care. To increase fruit size, it is recommended to remove excess flower buds, leaving 3-4 fruits per cluster. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and open ground, although plants are susceptible to bacterial diseases, especially in open ground, so regular preventive spraying is necessary. To improve taste quality and increase fruit sweetness in the latter half of summer, potassium fertilizers are recommended.
