BLACK MAGIC

Tomato variety 'Black Magic' is a mid-season variety with a ripening period of about 116 days. Plants are compact, low-branched, reaching up to 1.75 meters in height. The first truss forms above the 5th-6th leaf, and up to 7 full trusses with 7-9 large fruits develop on each plant. Fruits have an elegant heart-shaped form and feature an unusual coloration that changes during ripening from dark purple to deep burgundy, and ripe tomatoes acquire a dark raspberry hue with anthocyanin-darkened shoulders.

Average fruit weight is 180-200 grams, with the largest specimens reaching 450-650 grams. The skin is thin and resistant to cracking, the flesh is tender raspberry-colored, medium-density, juicy, and aromatic. The flavor of the fruits is balanced between acidity and sweetness, making them versatile for fresh consumption, home canning, and culinary use.

The variety is characterized by high yield—up to 14 kg per square meter—and good resistance to many diseases. Due to these qualities, 'Black Magic' is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses.
