The plant is low-growing, determinate, with a thick and sturdy stem, reaching a height of about 50-60 cm. The bushes require no complex pruning or staking, simplifying care. The tomato leaves are small, emerald-green with a wrinkled surface and sparse, large serrations, allowing the fruits to receive ample sunlight and ripen evenly. The inflorescences are of complex type, forming every two leaves, each containing 6 to 10 buds, contributing to high yield. The fruits of Tomato Blueberry in Sugar are small, round, resembling blueberry berries, with a smooth, glossy, and firm bright red skin. The weight of each fruit ranges from 12 to 20 grams. The flesh is tender yet dense, with medium-thick walls and several seed chambers containing a limited number of seeds. The fruits have a tart-sweet flavor, with moderate sugar content and pronounced acidity, making them ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, whole-fruit preservation, and culinary uses. Thanks to their firm skin and compact structure, the fruits exhibit good resistance to transport and can be stored in a cool place for up to two weeks. For successful cultivation of this variety, it is recommended to use seedlings sown at the beginning of March in nutrient-rich pots measuring 10x10 cm, followed by growing in cups for 55-60 days. Transplanting to the permanent location should be done in the second half of May, with a spacing of 50x50 cm on a sunny, sheltered spot from cold winds, on loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers. To accelerate growth and increase yield in the early days after planting, tomatoes can be temporarily covered with transparent plastic film. The best preceding crops for this variety are legumes, cucurbits, root vegetables, and leafy greens; planting after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, and physalis is not recommended. The variety is resistant to phytophthora and adverse weather conditions, making it a reliable choice for gardeners.
