Description
The fruits of tomato "Buy Tur" have a elongated, plum-like shape and vary in weight from 50 to 150 grams, most commonly reaching 70–100 grams. Fruit color ranges from deep pink to bright red, with a dense skin that does not crack during thermal processing. The flesh is juicy, tender, and aromatic, with a classic tomato flavor and slightly sweet aftertaste. The fruits are low-celled, which contributes to high dry matter and sugar content, ensuring excellent taste qualities both for fresh consumption and processing.
The variety is versatile in use: large fruits are ideal for fresh consumption, while smaller ones are perfect for pickling, whole-fruit canning, winter salads, sauces, and ajika. Tomatoes "Buy Tur" exhibit high resistance to phytophthora and tolerate temperature fluctuations, which is especially important for regions with unstable climates. The harvest has good transportability and long storage life, making this variety attractive for both home gardeners and commercial cultivation.
