Tomato variety Chestnut (Slavutich) is an indeterminate plant with unlimited stem growth, allowing the formation of a two-stem bush to increase yield. It is recommended to tie the plant to a vertical support, which promotes better development and fruit harvesting. The first harvest appears approximately 70 days after germination, and fruit weight ranges from 120 to 140 grams. Per square meter, up to 35 kg of tomatoes can be harvested per season, and with drip irrigation and greenhouse cultivation, yields may be even higher.

The fruits of tomato Chestnut have medium size, round shape with slight ribbing on top and dark brown epidermis. The flesh is tender and juicy, with a caramel-like flavor and rich smoky note characteristic of black tomatoes. The flesh color is dark red, and the taste is sweet with a slight acidity. Due to thick walls, the fruits withstand transportation and long-term storage without loss of flavor.
