COSMIC ECLIPSE

The tomato variety COSMIC ECLIPSE is a medium-early, tall indeterminate bush reaching up to 2 meters in height. The plant features a standard leaf type and simple inflorescences bearing 4 to 7 fruits. Bushes are suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses, with optimal planting locations being sunny areas protected from cold winds, with loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers. For early and high yields, seedlings should be transplanted in the second decade of May, following a 50x50 cm spacing scheme, and covered temporarily with transparent plastic film in the first days after planting.

The fruits of the COSMIC ECLIPSE variety have a unique and attractive coloration reminiscent of cosmic phenomena. The base of the fruit is stained with a black-chocolate hue containing anthocyanins, while the main part displays a red-brick color with diverse multicolored streaks, stripes, spots, and speckles, creating a starry effect. Fruit shape is round and dense, weighing between 50 to 150 grams depending on growing conditions. The flesh is a malty-red color, juicy, aromatic, and sweet with subtle exotic notes, making the taste exceptionally rich and pleasant.

The variety is characterized by good fruit set and high yield. It is recommended to grow using seedling method, starting sowing in early March in nutrient-rich pots of 10x10 cm, followed by seedling development in cups over 55-60 days. Successful cultivation requires crop rotation, avoiding planting after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, and Physalis, while preferring predecessors from legumes, cucurbits, root crops, and leafy vegetables.
