Description
The fruits of tomato Cow Ears are medium-sized, weighing 100 to 140 grams, colored deep red at full biological maturity, and ripen in clusters of 4-6 fruits. They have a dense skin that protects against cracking and ensures good storage and transportability. The flesh is juicy and succulent with numerous seed chambers, with a rich flavor harmoniously combining sweetness with a slight acidity without being watery. Tomatoes can be harvested either at technical or physiological maturity, and green fruits ripen quickly at room temperature.
The variety is resistant to temperature fluctuations and can withstand short-term cold spells and drought, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Cow Ears are suitable for growing both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, where yields may be higher. With proper care, more than 6 kilograms of high-quality fruits can be obtained per square meter. These tomatoes are versatile in use: they are consumed fresh and also used for making sauces and juices.
