Description
The fruits of tomato Energo have a round shape, smooth skin, and dense flesh. The average weight of the fruit ranges from 120 to 140 grams, and the ripe fruits are a deep red color. Inside, the fruits contain 4-5 chambers, and the calyx has a dark green spot that disappears upon ripening. The taste qualities of the fruits are excellent, making the variety suitable for fresh consumption as well as for pickling and preserving.
The variety exhibits high resistance to major tomato diseases, such as cladosporiosis, tobacco mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt, significantly reducing cultivation risks. Energo is a mid-early variety with a maturity period of about 110 days, with harvest occurring in July-August. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use seedlings sown in early March and transplanted to their permanent location in the second decade of May, with an optimal planting scheme of 50x50 cm.
