EXTRADENA

The tomato variety 'EXTRADENA F1' is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid developed by the Swiss company Syngenta AG. This bifurcated tomato is intended for cultivation in glass greenhouses and is suitable for both traditional rotation and light-culture conditions. Plants reach a height of 215-220 cm, have medium-sized, doubly-pinnate leaves arranged horizontally. The first flower cluster appears at a height of about 60 cm, and on one plant, fruits of different ripeness stages are simultaneously present, which contributes to continuous harvest. The fruits of 'EXTRADENA F1' are large, round, with a rich red color and slight gloss. The average fruit weight is about 250-331 g, with red, juicy flesh, thick walls, and six chambers. Immature fruits are light green. Fruits easily detach from the calyx, facilitating harvest. The hybrid's yield reaches 3.5 kg per square meter, with a commercial product output of 98%, indicating high quality and commercial attractiveness. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a range of diseases, including bacterial spot, fusarium wilt, root rot, tobacco mosaic virus, and tomato mosaic virus. It maintains fruit set even under stress conditions and does not cease development under temperature fluctuations, which is especially important for greenhouse cultivation. Additionally, the variety is not prone to fruit drop under low light conditions during the autumn-winter period, ensuring stable yields and high product quality under various climatic conditions.
