FET BOB

FET BOB — a mid-early indeterminate tomato hybrid belonging to the bif-tomato type. From seedlings to the first fruit harvest, it takes approximately 105 days. The plant is medium-leafy with shortened internodes; the first flower cluster forms above the seventh leaf, and subsequent clusters form every one to two leaves. Simple clusters produce 4 to 6 well-aligned fruits with a flat-round shape and fleshy texture, each weighing about 250 grams. The fruits have a red-mallow color and thick pericarp, ensuring high storability and good transportability.

FET BOB tomatoes are distinguished by their excellent taste and commercial qualities. They have a pleasant and harmonious flavor, making them ideal for fresh consumption as well as for making salads, lecho, and tomato juices. The fruits do not crack, retain juiciness and fleshiness, which allows them to be used for whole-fruit canning. The hybrid is resistant to major tomato diseases and pests, simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability.

The recommended planting density is 3–4 plants per square meter, with pruning to one or two stems. The yield of this hybrid exceeds 20 kg per square meter, making it a profitable choice for cultivation both in open ground and protected environments. Due to its low maintenance requirements and stable fruiting, FET BOB is suitable for both professional and amateur gardens.
