Fortuna

Tomato "Fortuna" is a mid-season variety with a vegetative period from seedlings to the start of fruiting of about 110-120 days. The plants are strong, reaching a height of 150-180 cm, requiring mandatory staking and training into a single stem with removal of lateral shoots for optimal growth and fruiting. It is recommended to grow in plastic and winter greenhouses, with seedlings sown in mid-to-late March and transplanted into greenhouses in early-to-mid May when the seedlings are about 45 days old.

The fruits of tomato "Fortuna" have a flat-round shape with a ribbed surface and a pink-red color. Fruit mass varies depending on the description: from 130-150 grams for hybrids to 300-600 grams for the variety, which may indicate different varieties or hybrid forms. The variety is distinguished by high flavor qualities and versatility — fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Yield per plant reaches 6-6.5 kg.

In addition, tomato "Fortuna" has resistance to several diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, fusarium, and gall nematode, making it a reliable choice for greenhouse cultivation.
