Galant

The tomato 'GALANT' is an early-maturing, tall variety that grows successfully both in greenhouses and in open ground. The indeterminate plant reaches a height of about 1.0-1.2 meters and forms clusters of 10–12 fruits. The fruits are round, smooth-skinned, and bright red when fully ripe. Each tomato weighs between 60 to 100 grams, distinguished by their dense structure and resistance to cracking. The fruit stem without a joint ensures secure attachment, preventing fruits from falling even when fully ripe, allowing harvest in whole clusters.

The 'GALANT' variety has excellent taste and is suitable for fresh consumption, salads, sandwiches, as well as for making sauces, soups, and baked dishes. Thanks to the gene for fruit firmness (LSL), the tomatoes retain their freshness for a long time and do not soften over time, significantly extending their storage life. Additionally, the variety is resistant to several dangerous diseases, including tomato leaf mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, and verticillium wilt, which enhances cultivation reliability and crop quality.

In addition to their taste, 'GALANT' tomatoes are a valuable source of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and antioxidant lycopene, which has anti-cancer properties. The yield of this variety in open ground reaches approximately 4 kg per square meter, making it attractive for cultivation both in private gardens and for commercial purposes. This variety is recommended for cultivation under plastic coverings and in open ground, offering flexibility in choosing cultivation conditions.
