GIFT OF KUBAN

Tomato variety "Gift of Kuban" is an early or mid-season determinate variety with a vegetation period of 85 to 105 days. The plant is low-growing, reaching a height of 60-70 cm, making it convenient for cultivation in open ground. This variety is distinguished by its resistance to adverse conditions, allowing for a stable harvest even under variable weather.

The tomatoes have a round shape and an attractive pink-red color with a smooth surface. Each fruit weighs 80 to 100 grams. They have an excellent flavor and are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption as well as for canning. Due to its qualities, this variety is popular among gardeners and farmers.

Growing techniques include the option of sowing either as seedlings or directly into the soil. For an early and high yield, it is recommended to sow seeds in early March into nutrient-rich pots, then transplant seedlings in the second decade of May, maintaining a planting scheme of 50x50 cm. In the first days after transplanting, plants can be temporarily covered with transparent plastic to protect against cold. The best preceding crops for this variety are legumes, cucurbits, root crops, and leafy greens; however, it is not recommended to plant tomatoes after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, or Physalis.
