GOLDEN AMULET

The 'Golden Amulet' tomato variety is a medium-early determinate type with a vegetation period from germination to maturity of about 110-125 days. The plants are medium-height, reaching up to 70 cm, and are characterized by strong leafiness. The fruits are smooth, cylindrical, dark red, and weigh about 80-90 grams. They are dense, have excellent flavor, and are versatile in use. Due to their good keeping quality and transportability, this variety is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.

The 'Golden Amulet' tomato can be grown both in open ground and under plastic covers. The crop is heat- and light-loving, preferring light, fertile loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers. For planting, sunny spots protected from cold winds are recommended. Best predecessors are legumes, cucurbits, root vegetables, and leafy crops, while it is not recommended to plant after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, or physalis.

To achieve a high and early yield, tomatoes are grown either as seedlings or sown directly into the ground. Seeds should be treated with a 1% potassium permanganate solution before sowing and planted at a depth of 1-1.5 cm. Seedlings are grown in nutrient-rich pots of 10x10 cm or cups for 55-60 days, then transplanted to their permanent location in the second decade of May at a spacing of 50x50 cm. In the first days after planting, plants can be temporarily covered with transparent plastic to protect against cold.
