Description
The fruits have an attractive yellow-orange color and a distinctive plum-like shape with a long stem. Each tomato weighs 50–80 grams, sometimes reaching up to 100 grams. The flesh is dense, two-chambered, with excellent flavor, practically free of acidity and low in juice, making these tomatoes dietary and especially suitable for whole-canning. They retain their shape and do not crack during thermal processing, allowing them to be used for jar preparations, where they look strikingly attractive alongside tomatoes of other colors.
For optimal cultivation, it is recommended to train plants into two stems and follow a planting scheme of 40 by 60 centimeters. The seed package contains 0.1 grams, approximately equivalent to 30 seeds. The variety 'Golden Canary' is valued for its high yield, decorative appearance, and versatility, making it an excellent choice for both hobbyists and professional vegetable growers.
