GOOD YOUNG MAN

The tomato variety "Good Young Man" is medium-ripening, with a maturation period of 115-120 days from germination to fruiting. The plant is tall, reaching 150-170 cm in height, and requires training to a single stem with mandatory pinching of the top and removal of suckers to ensure full fruit ripening. Seedlings are transplanted at 50-55 days old, and cultivation is possible both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses.

The fruits of the "Good Young Man" tomato are flat-round, slightly ribbed, weighing on average 400-500 grams, sometimes reaching up to 1 kilogram. They have a bright red color, dense and fleshy texture, few seeds, sugary flesh, and a rich aroma. The taste qualities of the fruits are high, making them an excellent choice for fresh salads and the production of high-quality tomato juice. Yield per plant, under proper agronomic practices, reaches 3.5-4.5 kilograms.

The variety is characterized by high yield and disease resistance, which simplifies care and increases the reliability of cultivation. Seeds are recommended to be sown in prepared, settled soil, preferably purchased, to avoid disease contamination. To speed up germination, seeds can be pre-treated with disinfecting solutions, such as potassium permanganate, baking soda, or aloe juice. After sowing, containers with seeds are covered with plastic and placed in a warm location until sprouts appear.
