Grilyazh

Grilliazh is an early-maturing indeterminate tomato variety, primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouses. The plant is tall and requires mandatory staking and training into a single stem, with removal of suckers and lower leaves to ensure optimal growth and high yield. Seedlings should be sown at the end of February to early March, and transplanted into greenhouses at the end of April to early May, following a planting scheme of 40x60 cm.

The fruits of the Grilliazh variety have a cherry-like shape, weigh up to 30 grams, and turn red-brown upon full ripening. They form clusters of up to 30 fruits and are distinguished by high sugar and lycopene content, giving them an exceptional dessert-like flavor reminiscent of the candy of the same name. Additionally, the fruits are rich in anthocyanins, which possess antioxidant properties, strengthen the immune system, have anti-cancer effects, help with edema, and reinforce blood vessel walls.

Grilliazh tomatoes are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for canning and pickling. The variety’s high yield, reaching 10-11 kg per square meter, makes it attractive for cultivation in various regions. To achieve maximum results, it is essential to follow agronomic practices, including timely suckering, staking, and pinching off the growth point at the end of the vegetative period.
